Introduction to Processing Instruction
Objectives
This is a course that will teach aspiring world language teachers about Processing Instruction - an alternative to traditional grammar instruction. Here are the learning outcomes:
1) Rule on the efficacy of grammar teaching methods encountered in the past, present, and future.
2) Reflect on their experiences as second language learners and instructors against the backdrop of their dynamic implicit linguistic system.
3) Create an original grammar lesson with effective structured input activities in the language they teach.
