About Me

Hi! My name is Talia Siegel, and I am an e-learning project manager specializing in languages. As a lifelong language learner and humanist, I came into my current role through working as a content contributor and developer. Although related to languages (dead ones!),  my background is in Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Cultures. Both fields have allowed me to delve into our common history, culture, and communication as a species. I have always been fascinated with what makes us unique - our capacity to learn.

What drives me in my current role is collaborating with linguists and subject matter experts to transform their extensive knowledge into engaging and digestible learning experiences through effective and efficient presentation of the topic. To date, I have managed dozens of e-learning projects and established new company-wide models of instruction aligned with current pedagogical trends.

I recognize that no two courses are the same and that desired learning outcomes are shaped by the distinctiveness of the subject matter and learners’ needs. In my design approach, I strive to make intentional, methodical, and purposeful decisions to promote enduring understanding of the subject matter.

Building on my expertise in learning experience design across cultures and audiences and pursuing an MEd in Instructional Design, I am eager to apply my deliberate approach to your organization’s needs.
